What kind of animal is our hippo?

•  2nd largest land animal
• Family: Pigs
• Population: 160.000
• Length: 4 m; Height: 1,5 m
• Weight: approx. 3.500 kg
• Skin: 4 cm thick
• Teeth: lower pair up to 50 cm
• Speed on land: 30 km/h
• Schools exists up to 20
• The bathing is for protection against sunburn and dehydration
• "Pink sweat": their own produced sun lotion (nr 15)
• Submerge completely: for 6 minutes
• The only animal which can 'talk' both on land as under water.
• Favourite food: grass (50 kg per day)
• Life span: 50 years
• Gestation: 225 to 257 days
• Baby hippo: 30 kilo
• Enemies: humans and crocodiles and lions for infant hippos
• More men get killed by hippos than by crocodiles
• In poems hippos almost always smiles
